Elsa-Foundation

What We Do

Although the foundation has formally and legally shaped up only recently, the work for animal care has been carried out for years now. Essentially, what we do is 'what we hope to achieve' – which is – doing whatever is feasible to help needy animals.

Our model is to partner with/assist other established animal welfare associations or individuals and help them in whatever way feasible. Our focus, however, is on providing funds and promoting the activities that often take a back seat due to inadequate financial support. In the long run, we hope to be able to procure an animal ambulance that would be equipped to provide essential veterinary care on site. We intend to donate/house it with an existing veterinary clinic/service so that it is used to its optimum.

The overriding requirement for the above, is of course, Funds. We, therefore, look towards donors who could contribute to our cause by providing (tax-free) donations to our corpus fund.

We do not have any facilities for on site treatment of or rescue of acutely injured or ill animals.
